This precious little gem broke her third tooth today! Definitely a moment to document, wouldn't you say?? Leah is such a calm baby, but when those teeth start bugging her, she'll let me, and everyone else in the room, know about it. She has been chewing on her fingers like mad the past few weeks, and the only thing that comforts her is snuggling with her mama. Noah becomes so concerned when Leah is crying that he always comes to her side and gives her lots of hugs and kisses and says "Leah, it's OK. Noah's here." He is so precious! I am so thankful for the big brother that he is to Leah...and I know that she thinks he's pretty dang cool too :).We love giving Leah kisses at the same time, and, as you can see {below}, she doesn't mind it either. I had to pull out my little point and shoot to get this shot...it took a few tries :). Notice the finger in Leah's mouth...at least she has three teeth down, just a ton more to go. Does anyone have any good remedies for teething??? Please share :).
Poor little girl! My best bet for teething was just nurse, nurse, nurse! :) In fact, that was and still our magic remedy for many of Addie's woes in life. Works like a charm to comfort and soothe. Oh, and we'd put wet washcloths in the freezer for her to chew on ... she liked those a lot.
